What is Biophilic Design?

Chances are there was a lack of collaboration, communication, and checkpoints – no clearly defined or sufficiently detailed process.
A misguided content strategy from the start.
Not using Lorem Ipsum would have made no difference and it won't help now either. That would be like saying, "You're a bad designer, use less bold, don't use italics every other paragraph." That may be true, but it's not enough to get things back on track.
I have often heard the argument that “Lorem Ipsum” is helpful in wireframing or design because it draws focus to the actual layout, color scheme or other design aspects. What bothers me about this is that it is ultimately about creating a user experience that – whether we like it or not – is driven by WORDS. The entire structure of a page or app flow exists FOR the words.
If you see it that way, how about the other way around? How can you evaluate content without design? No typography, no colors, no layout, no styles - all those elements that convey important signals that go beyond mere text: information hierarchies, weighting, emphasis, subtle accents, priorities - all those subtle cues that also have a visual and emotional impact on the reader.
Strict content strategy advocates may object to the use of placeholder text, but then perhaps designers should ask them to provide style sheets that are consistent with the desired design direction.
Websites use professional template systems. Commercial publishing platforms and content management systems make it possible to present different texts and data using the same template.
When it comes to managing hundreds of items, product pages for web shops or user profiles on social networks – all with potentially different sizes, formats and rules for different elements – errors can occur. Designs that were originally agreed upon can have unintended consequences and look completely different than expected.
